well…not much to tell about myself. My name’s Kai and I’m located near Nuernberg, Germany.

I work as a programmer, do like good old rock’n'roll and I’m always trying to spend as much time as possible with my girlfriend and my friends.

My favorite pastime is being a volunteer at fire company in the town I live.
According to my opinion it’s a good idea to spend some of your free time offering technical assistance to others, whatever they are in danger of.

I have developed a keen interest in different cultures. Last year I went for social purposes to Tanzania/East Africa, as a guest of the ELCT (Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania). I plan to go back there as soon as possible, maybe next time if there’s still time I’ll make a short detour and drop in at Kenya for some days.
Some of the highlights for me in the last time were travelling to Vietnam, Laos and Israel.

If I can find the time to I like spending my time by reading books. My favorites are thrillers, novels and social or political. Unfortunately sufficient time mostly is just on the way to work when sitting in the back of the bus. Furthermore I do like photographing a lot…

I’m pacifistic, that’s why I didn’t join the forces. For that reason I do civilian national service.
